We dispatch our Paramedics for Duty in Metro Vancouver, on Vancouver Island, and around Southwest BC. We’re mainly on duty at:

• Special Event Stand by for large crowds,

Qualifications of our Emergency Medical Paramedics

Our Paramedics are all trained and licensed in BC also serving the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) and the greater Vancouver area for 911, providing Patient Transfers, or perform as Emergency Room Attendants (ERA) at their local Hospitals, and have for many years.

Our entry level provider is an OFA3–CIP (Occupational First Aid Level 3-Critical Interventions Provider), a Medical Responder that performs under direction of a Vancouver practicing emergency physician’s Standing Orders. They are qualified to assist patients using pain management gas, angina relief, diabetes, anaphylactic, and asthma medications to counter acute attacks. In events involving a sudden cardiac arrest, a defibrillator is administered.

Our more advanced skilled Providers are;

• EMR (Emergency Medical Responder)
• Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), and
• PCP-IV (Intra Venous) endorsed.

Important to know:

When not working under the Provincial Health Services Authority, Paramedics are not insured for Malpractice or retain any Medical Oversight of an emergency physician.

• Our Paramedics are licensed by the EMA Licensing Board of BC, and are certified by WorksafeBC. They work within their skillset abiding by Regulations of the Workers Compensation Act, Health Emergency Act, and the Motor Vehicle Act of BC when performing services.
• MEDIFORCE Paramedics operate with written consent of the Emergency Health Services Commission (EHSC) of BC to provide services to the general public otherwise mandated to the BC Ambulance Service for all pre-hospital care in this Province.
• Our Paramedics work with Ambulances, operated and insured appropriately as an Emergency Transport Vehicles capable of transporting patients safely for further medical care.
• Our Vancouver Paramedics are known well on Sites for always maintaining visibility and being prepared. A safe, diligent work ethic is what we’re all about.
